The Oceanic has been touted as having the best view of the water in the area. Certainly, this upscale establishments placement on the beach (with its own deck and pier) give most patrons a gorgeous view of the ocean, especially at night when the scene is truly romantic. Seafood is their specialty, but entrees are expensive (if not overpriced). The real treat here is the bar, which draws an affluent older crowd. Most enjoy the sumptuous surroundings and a drink inside the bar, as they listen to the waves roll in against the shore. -- NCN

With such a beautiful beach and such poor and overpriced food
Great Location
But another Wilmington restaurant (Wrightville) where location & view are the only reason to be there. Food is ok.
Overpriced understaffed
If you are in the recession proof league - as to where you weigh your money and not worry about counting it -- then this is the restraunt for You to eat.
