This intimate pub is something of an old- fashioned alehouse with a goofy cartoon theme courtesy of Warner Bros. Elmer's is a haven for beer connoisseurs and offers a vast selection of exotic domestic and imported foams. Though the atmosphere is unpretentious, with high-end suds like La Trappe Quadruple and Sierra Nevada Bigfoot available, you might be chided for ordering up a simple Miller or Bud. Elmer's also features a bar menu that offers alternatives to and upscale versions of traditional bar favorites -- turkey burgers, anyone? If you like to savor your brew and burgers with a stogie, cigar smokers are welcome at Elmer Sudds.

Can't wait for the re-opening
Elmer's will re-open under new management - acutally, it will be run by a fella who cooked there. The Elmer Sudds Alumni Association is very much looking forward to the day.
Bad neighborhood? I live there, and we have few problems. Do us a favor, "In a bad neighborhood", and stay away. We're trying to weed out snots like you.
