Voted twice by local community newspaper readers as having the best pizza in Fairfax County, Papa Petrone's is an all-purpose pizza store with a twist: Petrone assembles the pies on his secret- formula crust, adds the toppings of your choice, wraps it all up -- and you bake it fresh at home. It's a great innovation, because you are virtually guaranteed an oven-fresh pie, even if that oven is not brick and doesn't burn wood. He says his crust is formulated to perform well even in home ovens. Nonpizza options include his remarkable Scramble Bread (pizza crust chopped up with toppings of your choice) and his stuffed pizza, which is two pizzas in one: a top and a bottom crust sandwiching fillings of your choice. Petrone now carries desserts from Italy, including designer sorbets as well as his ever- popular Chocolate Volcano -- ask him to describe it to you.

Papa Petrone's is sorely missed in the Springfield area. They have not been at this location for over a year.

Wow, you need to eat at this place. I had the scrambled bread about a year ago and i have been addicted ever since. You NEED to try this, you are seriously missing out if you dont, the best food I've ever had. It is definatly worth the drive. Great service, great food, GREAT PLACE!

I love Papa's Pizza- it's absolutely amazing and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I can get the pizza of my dreams if I want because there are toppings galore to choose from. Those who think the opposite have got to be out of their minds- do not be fooled by any bad reviews. Ive been going to Papas for years. Papa uses quality stuff- only the best for his customers. Ive always walked out of the place with a smile on my face. Papa is an awesome guy and makes amazing fresh food that is to die for; and what a great concept- Papa does all the work and all I have to do is turn on the oven. It saves me so much time, and clean up is incredibly easy- the less time I spend in the kitchen, the more time I get to spend with my family and friends. If its quality food and service you want its quality food and service youll get I love Papa Petrones:-)
