You may not think pizza and hockey go hand in hand, but Bugsy's thinks they aren't a bad pair. This pizza place -- and the sports bar on the second floor -- is owned by former Washington Capitals defenseman Bryan Watson. You'll see the affection for hockey played out in the memorabilia on the walls, like hockey jerseys and photos, and in the hockey games buzzing on the TVs in the sports bar. You'll see the affection for pizza played out in the menu. Watson and his wife Lindy operated an Armand's Chicago Pizzeria for 15 years at this address, then went independent in 1998. The menu still focuses on Chicago-style pizza, but the Watsons have added a few of their own dishes to round out the menu. Everything's moderately priced, so you can split a pizza and a pitcher of beer with a friend for less than 30 bucks. This is a kick-back kind of place, a little rowdy, a lot of fun -- kind of like a hockey game. -- Jon Bowen
