Ascending upward in the style of a loft, this salon offers full service on its various levels, but take note that the services are not accessible to those who can't climb stairs. The staff is European trained, and each spa specialist must take extensive course work before signing on here. A teaching salon, Ilo has partnered with L'oreal to teach other hair dressers cutting-edge techniques. Realizing that most hectic Washingtonians can't tarry for hours at a salon, management has structured its services into efficient scheduling so most people can get in and out in reasonable time. Maybe that's why big-name celebs make this their place for color, cuts, spa treatments and regular beauty maintenance. Want a 'halo' ?

Go see Aaron O:) I've been his client for twenty years! As a former Model/Singer/Actor I can assure you, he can do it all! I began with shoulder length, baby fine, thin brown hair. Over the years it's been baby blonde, high-lighted, low-lighted, outrageous red, black, streaked, very short to very long and just about anything in between you can imagine (including wigs, and switches). He's truly amazing! He's one of the gentlest souls I've ever met. He's got a pure heart, the hands and skill of a creative artist, and if you're like most of his clients, soon he'll be trusted with all your secrets. He's also very gorgeous inside and out.

Great Cuts and Spa Services

The best cuts, great color that looks natural (but NOT dull or boring), all four manicurists are terrific, and great spa services...you definitely get what you pay for! I've been going here for more years than I care to mention. It's always a positive experience!
