Commuters rolling along New York Avenue at a snail's pace can get a daytime glimpse of this unobstrusive brick nightclub where the front door is just a few feet shy of the road. But night owls know there's a whole different vibe when the sun goes down. Formerly known as the Skylark Pool Hall, the two-story building has been transformed into Mirrors, a comfortably close yet roomy venue with two levels of open space and a clever mix of live entertainment and events. From neo-soul sounds to hip-hop, house, reggae and international music, Mirrors attracts a diverse crowd of music-lovers with bands and dancing on the lower level, along with VIP suites, a late-night menu and valet parking.
