Housed in the historic Amos Building, the Syracuse Suds Factory has a built-in microbrewery run by their very own brew master, Norm. OK, so it's not the guy from Cheers, but he does know a lot about beer -- and according to one employee, "he'll talk your ear off" if you'd like to arrange an evening group tour. Six of Norm's concoctions are on tap at the bar, including Suds's legendary BrickHouse Brew, alongside other local microbrews, bottled beers, wines and liquors. But alcohol's not the only thing you'll find here. The Factory's always-open kitchen dishes up a wide variety of affordable bar foods, soups, salads, entrees and desserts. You can even dine privately with up to 1,000 of your closest friends in the banquet room. If you're looking for a little live entertainment, head to Suds on Wednesday nights between
