According to Doc himself, this 52-seat diner with more than 100 items on the menu "never closes, and I mean that -- literally." Open 24-7, Doc's is a favorite among locals who come for the famous frittata with broccoli, onions, eggs, pepperoni, and ham with a side of home fries ("They usually take half of it home," says Doc), as well as the eggs Benedict. Another favorite among regulars is Doc's freshly whipped mashed potatoes. "We go through about two tons of potatoes a week," Doc says. Doc's also features up to 60 different specials that aren't on the menu and more than 30 different sandwiches. No matter what time of day or night, this little diner is just what the doctor ordered.

Great diner food!
Okay, its not gourmet, but it doesn't claim to be. They have excellent ruebens, chicken sandwiches, breakfast food, etc. its cheap and its tasty.
Miss the cigarette smoke!
Doc's was best as the smoky, greasy spoon antidote for your 2-3 am got-my-drunk-on-and wanna-pig-out syndrome. Just doesn't seem the same slice o'life anymore with the smoking laws in effect!
