You can almost feel the sun on your face as you step inside Lucys. Palm trees, sharks and beach scenes cover the walls of the bar. Listen to the tunes of the DJ while you sip a south-of-the- border import in the place that claims to sell more Corona than anyone in Upstate New York. Lucys Retired Surfers Bar has a different special each night. Ladies live it up on Saturday nights, when they pay a small cover charge for tickets worth four glasses of wine or draft beer. Lucys also has a VIP room -- five bucks gets you into the private, black-lit room with cocktail waitress service. Deals like these bring in the college crowds, especially on weekend nights. -- Shelly Gross

Bars like this (especially in central NY) are cool. Sometimes you just want to feel like your in a differant place far ,far away in a tropical place. I recommend it.

event night they will rip you

IF you don't wear orange Don't expect to get much service game weekends, and expect a cover charge when they host NCAA tourney Head down the alley a block up towards the dome and relax and enjoy. Wish i could remember that places name but in spite of the great food, the $3.00 happy hour pitchers kinda washed out my memory of the other places name. The surfer's is roomy and ok for locals but a little pricy and not really visitor freindly
