Going around in circles was never this much fun. Top of the Riverfront is colloquially known as "that rotating restaurant by the Arch," and rotate it does, albeit very gently. The turning is mainly noticeable by the slowly shifting vista of the Arch, Busch Stadium, the Mississippi River, the Eads Bridge and the rest of downtown St. Louis and immediately adjacent stretches of southern Illinois. It's a beautiful view, especially at sundown and at night. This is a superb place to bring a date or to impress an out-of-town visitor. There's nothing else in the world quite like the Arch, or the Mississippi, and this restaurant offers a dazzling vantage on both. Top of the Riverfront features an eclectic New American menu and a decor that is handsome. A must-visit for St. Louisans and tourists alike. -- HW

Terrible.
By PgPaint7 on 08/15/2008
Went there last night for Restaurant Week and couldn't have been more disappointed. The waitress screwed up my boyfriend's beer order and when we pointed out her error did nothing to fix it. The prime rib was as tender as my sneaker and the creme brule was so rubbery I suspect it was made a few days prior and kept in the fridge til they tossed it on our table. They also said they validate parking, but when I attempted to use the ticket the hostess gave me I was still charged for parking. Definitely not worth the time or money we spent here.

Worst of the worst

If you must go just go for a drink and the view. Food is beyond terrible nearly inedible. The wait staff is at best indifferent . Waste of time and money!

We have gone to this restaurant on multiple occasions as our daughter went to school in St. Louis. For a great meal and beautiful view, this is the place to go.

We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday and the food was awesome and the view was spectacular!! We even got to see Fireworks from the Live on the Levee! Pricey, but I highly recommend for a special occasion!!
