Rate and Write a Review Brendan Marsden (owner of Modesto) and brother Brian Marsden have teamed up to bring Nuevo Latino cuisine -- unique food combinations inspired by traditional Latin American dishes -- to the Delmar Loop. Since most of the menu is served tapas style, which is ideal for sharing, you can sample a variety of flavorful dishes on this rotating menu. Start by sipping on a mojito or sweet Latin kiss, and enjoy complimentary spiced pumpkin seeds while waiting for your first course to arrive. Then, dive into one or two of the "ceviches," described as "light and refreshing dishes, made up of only the freshest fish and seafood," before moving on to the warm tapas, which include treats such as the estofada criolla (succulent boneless short ribs) and albondigas celestiales (duck and pork meatballs). This hot spot definitely has a distinctive look, with lively colors, wrought iron floor-to-ceiling trellises and plenty of leafy foliage and dark wood. To enjoy the Loop scene, sit near the storefront windows or relax at a table out front on a sunny afternoon.
