Rate and Write a Review One of the great treasures of Palm Beach County dining, Sundy House is set in a restored Victorian mansion once owned by Delray Beach's first mayor and his large family. The house itself is surrounded by a huge botanical garden, complete with bubbling waterfalls, charming cul-de-sacs, bridges, gazebos and brick garden paths. Before or after your meal, wander in the garden, where exotic tropical plants are labeled for your botanical edification. The restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar, serves a Caribbean-Floribbean menu that incorporates some of the rare fruits grown in the garden. Fish, meats and pasta dishes are all inventive. Sunday brunch at Sundy has become an institution -- if you can get a table (make sure to call for a reservation). There's probably no prettier place to spend a leisurely morning over eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary, reading the paper.
