Quick Tips: 1. Parking -- For visits less than 2 hours use short-term. Rates are $2 for the first half hour, $4 the next, then the next full hour is $6. Pay for all parking at any of the 25 black and yellow pay stations. 2.Transportation -- Taxi fares are around $28 to $30 to downtown Seattle and $32 to $40 to downtown Tacoma. Curbside courtesy phones can help you with other options. 3. Inter-Terminal Transfer -- All concourses in the main terminal are within walking distance. An underground train runs from the main terminal to the satellites every five to 10 minutes 4. Food -- A food court in the main terminal offers fast food as well as full-service restaurants and cocktail lounges. A coffee shop is located in the baggage claim area. 5. Special Notes -- Most of the frustrations you'll encounter are construction related. Allow yourself plenty of time. The airports also recommends traveling in groups.
