Don't be deterred by the line out the front door: It moves fast. Mission locals and out-of-the- neighborhood fans flock to this taqueria for some of the best Mexican food in town. Burritos and soft tacos are the main draws; the house special is a huge flour tortilla filled with rice, red or black beans, grilled chopped steak, guacamole and fresh salsa. You'll also find chicken, pork with prawns, red snapper and vegetarian dishes.

I grew up across the street from Pancho Villa in the mid-80's, now i live in Seattle. I took my girlfriend their 2 years ago and now we're coming back to look at it to model a restaurant like it in Seattle. She was amaze of how busy it was and and very successful. The food, i have never tasted anytning like it.It's the best.

I am a native and i love this place. i would drive 25 miles just to eat here. tacos are the best. salsa is alwasy fresh and you can have as much as you want. the service is fast and friendly. no other place in sf like it.
