It's a large, interesting space, with Anchor Steam, Gordon Biersch, Pyramid, Red Tail and more on tap, and a huge breakfast menu thats popular with UC students and neighborhood folks. The kitchen opens at 9AM and the bars (upstairs and downstairs) are pouring by 10AM. The Catalyst's music is eclectic, with party bands like Superbooty sharing time with bluesmen like Robert Cray and dance acts such as Wally's Swing World. Coming to the Catalyst is a Santa Cruz tradition. -- Doug Konecky

I want to see actual venues on your web. We are planning a trip to S.C...my native town, and want a show at the Catalyst in our plans. No schedule comes up and your voicemail at the number provided is inadaquet. Give me a venue!
