The jazz-bar-like Po Pazzo (translation: a bit cuckoo) is right on the edge of Little Italy's main drag on India Street. And perhaps Chef Joe Busalacchi is a little cuckoo to have three restaurants on the same street in Little Italy, or to make this one break from the long-standing success of pure Italian fare with new influences of continental and American. But Busalacchi's name is so highly regarded in local cuisine that guests flock to the eatery, whether it be for entrees like prime steak, sea bass wrapped in Yukon gold potatoes or brick-oven-roasted free-range chicken with gnocchi. Live singers and piano on weekends is a great time to let the wine and food flow freely.

The four of us went for dinner last Saturday night and everyone was very happy with the food and service. Not one complaint, a great place to eat and enjoy. I give this place all A's!

Wonderful!

We had a group of 12 and our waiter, Eric, was great! He offered personal suggestions for the entrees and wine and he was right on! The wines by the glass and cocktails at first seemed a bit pricey, but you receive a very generous sized drink, so that evens out the price. The food was delicious! I don't usually like Lobster Bisque, but it had such a very subtle, smooth taste that I enjoy it completely. I ordered the Cheese Tortellini, my friend on my left ordered the Ahi Tuna and my friend on my right ordered the Petite Filet with Bleu Cheese on top. And while we each had our own entree, we could not stop taking bites from each others plates. The tortellini was perfectly al dente, the ahi just melted in your mouth and the filet was cooked just right. For dessert the table ordered 2 of the mousse, a creme brulee, a chocolate flourless torte and a cannoli. We ate every bite!!! The desserts along with a great cup of coffee, finished off one of the most delicious and enjoyable meals that we have had in a long time. We will definitely be going to Po Pazzo many more times!
