Ono Sushi

Whether you're having a deal-clenching business meeting, a blind date or your first experience with sushi, you can rely on a relaxing and satisfying dining experience at Ono's. The choice of sushi rolls is staggering; the sheer volume could keep a person coming back for more. From the California roll (whose popularity is rapidly surpassing the taco in this neck of the woods) to other generous hand-rolls filled with salmon, tuna and shrimp, Ono's food is as good as it looks. The Baja roll, topped with seared ahi, is a must. Sit at the bar for a good view and lively chatter. Besides sushi -- and remember that "Ono" means "delicious" in Hawaiian -- the other component to this restaurant is its Pacific flair. With tapas and entrees that include a fantastic lobster ravioli, ahi poki, Szechwan beef and sesame-seeded shrimp, the Pacific Rim fusion works perfectly. The full bar is a popular weekend spot, serving Japanese beers, the obligatory sakes, great wines and martinis.
