Cream combines the best in coffeehouse culture with the artsy, community-centric lounge style that appeals to the Hillcrest/University Heights crowd. The place packs out at night, when books and computers are as numerous as cups of cappuccino. Free Wi-Fi lures people from corporate shops that think anyone's still willing to pay for a connection. The big, open space hosts open mic nights, poetry and featured art. Cream is just far enough outside the hubbub of Hillcrest that it doesn't seem crazy inside, but the place does get packed, and you should feel lucky if you find street parking on one of the nearby blocks.

heading for luxury

CREAM may have the most BEAUTIFUL BATHROOMS of any coffee house in San Diego... decked out with brass and in-set lighting, you feel liked you might just be somewhere else. With so many recent changes I can't wait to see what will be next. Their menu includes sandwiches, soup, smoothies and more. Also, the open floorplan makes it feel like you have space, even when all of the tables are filled.

DELIGHTFUL COFFEE CAFE AND MOR
By jcl52 on 03/10/2007
Cream is just about the best coffee shop I have ever been too. It is unusual, it is spacious, it is comfortable and coffee, snacks, food are delicious. They even have a specialty chocolate maker and his pastry and chocolates are unbelievable. This is one of the most pleasant places to be in. It is calming and extremely impressive with amazing art works from locals...It is definitely a one of a kind place where the setting and atmosphere, the comfort and warmth, the delicious foods, coffee and wonderful unusual smoothies will just make you feel welcome with lots of warm fuzzies. The staff is alsothe friendliest and the total experience was terrific. GO CHECK IT OUT, IT IS ONE OF A KIND! NEXT DOOR IS ALSO A charming little boutiqe called NEIGHBOURHOOD..owned by the same owners...it always make my day when in the area!

Coffee Rules Everything...

Simply, the best. Serving San Diego's most well respected coffee brand, Cafe Moto, CREAM offers a great place to study, have lunch, chill out with friends, or have a beer or glass of wine at the end of the day. For under 6 bucks you get what might be the best sandwich plate around and the chocolates...well, euphoric artsy blends. The murals on the walls are sick, and the staff is really customer-oriented. 5 stars doesn't even cover it. Check it out!

C to the Crizzeam

So, I hear about this grand opening party for a boutique called Neighbourhood at a spot called cream. They say Art, Music, Fashion Show...whatever. It's a Wednesday night and I have nothing better to do, so I thought I'd check it out. In my wildest dreams, I didn't expect a party by which other parties would be defined. It was off the hook! The place was awesome, the crowd was totally diverse, the scene was jumping... I was shocked. Anyhow, I have since frequented the joint and was surprised to find that it wasn't just hip, but super high quality in terms of the food and drinks. They have this mint ginger smoothie thing that is like crack. so good!
