94th Aero Squadron Restaurant   

If a World War I flying ace was to crash his biplane in the French countryside, he may find refuge at a rural estate very much resembling the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant. Ivy crawls up a turreted stone facade, while the decorations and furniture, down to the huge stone fireplaces, add a bit of nighttime romance. Some of the lunch entrees seem a bit expensive, but for macadamia-crusted swordfish, coconut shrimp, a huge buffet or a 10-ounce New York steak, the prices are right on target. There are also thick sandwiches and hefty salads. The restaurant is surrounded by offices, which makes the place a nice business lunch choice, and you can reserve rooms for group meetings. Dinner choices range from prime rib and steaks to crab-stuffed shrimp. Finish the meal with a Mile High mud pie. Sunday brunch is a perfect opportunity to sup on the back lawn, which is lined with garden flora and has a view of planes taking off at Montgomery Field. If you want to get in on the action, there are helicopter tours of the city available. Just don't eat too much before the trip.
