I am a local and all of the good things said are absolutely true except there is no indoor pool or any pool at all and also no hot air balloon. Not sure where that came from.

My fiance and I went to SPI for Spring Break 2001...we were told to go to Parrot Eyes for the great nightlife. We ended up going back there every day for over a week! The employees are TERRIFIC! (Go see Chance-you're the best!-Mike, Vivian, Roxy, and Ron) The drinks are wonderful, the club scene at night is awesome, and the watersport selection is the best on the island. Make sure to take one of the sunset party cruises! Also take the time to go see Rocky :)...he's special! He loves the attention!

The BEST place to hang out at on South Padre Island. Parrot Eyes has THE friendliest bartenders and staff. You can participate in all kinds of water activities or just hang out at the bar. Great place to watch sunsets. A must go and visit establishment.

This place is loaded with clean fun, great beer prices & oysters on the half shell were delicious. The sunset is a view that leaves you breathless. It's very casual, laid=back atmosphere. You get sun, fun and loaded. The water sports are also a thrill. Nothing like , you have to visit there place. We were celebrating our 2. anniversary. I LOVE THE SAND< THE BEACH<THE SUN.THE FUN
