Rate and Write a Review Variety is the rule at this suburban club, approximately 20 minutes from downtown. Rest assured, though, that The Boardwalk is a hard-rockin' club that prides itself on picking up where the punk-grunge world of Seattle's '90s rock scene left off. The mix tends toward punk/nu-metal/post-grunge and then some; among the big names that have found their way to the Boardwalk's stage are Hoobastank, Mudvayne, Story of the Year, Coheed and Cambria and Great White, who at the time set a record record for highest attendance and bar sales in this 4,500 square-foot venue. Crowds are generally very mixed, mostly 20-something rockers and alternative-industrial punks, with a few older rockers thrown in.

Great place.
The place is awesome. Not great ventilation and the place is small. But it is worth it for the shows they hold there. The workers are nice and it's a chance to meet some people from around your area.
Awesome!
Awesome place to hang out with friends on a Friday night.
THIS PLACE ROCKS
This is a great local night club. Iv'e seen some good bands here.
A dump
So, I'm looking forward to seeing Dredg tonight. However, I'm not looking forward to the lack of ventilation, the trashy people, and the retard bouncer. The Boardwalk is a complete dump. Plus it's way out in the middle of crap-ville. Sounds good?
