Bottoms Up Pizza began in a tiny takeout place a few blocks north of the Canal and has grown into a phenomenal pizza palace -- with gourmet pizzas named after local legends. A slice of Bottoms Up Pizza can be an entire meal for most folks. It has continuously been named the best pizza in the city for so many years that the shop has probably lost count. No topping would be too exotic for these folks. Feta cheese? No problem. Crabmeat? Coming right up. A great beer selection, zesty salads and filling pastas make Bottoms Up much more than your average pizza joint. The salads are fresh, boasting homemade dressings, and are the perfect accompaniment to the restaurant's unbelievable slices. Bottoms Up has also created a romantic ambience, featuring trains chugging over the balcony and deck, a beautifully crafted bar and an easygoing style. -- Amie Oliver

Good times

Great pizza! Tasty, fresh and huge. The slices never sit under a heat lamp so it's alot better than other places that let you order by the slice. Good beer selection too, usually see just miller lite or bud light on tap but this place has alot more variety.

Hello all, new to Richmond and this pizza is the best I have had since Chicago-- ingredients seem fresh, so fresh normally don't do veggie style, only meats, but tried a veggie and it was AWESOME, I have eaten in(for lunch) good service alittle long to wait, but well worth it. Also have taken out a couple of pizza's and still loved it. Yea alittle cold harder to eat, but I think because of the amount of topping and how large they are? But can do leftovers 1 day only afterwards. Will dine there again and again.

I take my family their every New Year's Eve. If it wasn't in downtown Richmond, we would go there more often. During the year, I have to settle for less than the best I have ever had any where around the U.S. JP

Worlds worst pizza!!!!!!!!!!!
By captnbaja on 08/04/2006
I ordered two pizzas for home delievery. The new Bottoms Up Pizza in Midlothian on Hull St. .The delievery time was not too bad 1hr. 15 min. But it was the absolute worst pizza I have ever tried to eat. The crust was like a rock and the ingredients had a very bad taste. (Stale greese). I took the pizza back and the manager reluctantly gave me my money back. He wanted to give me a voucher or make me fresh pizzas. Alas, we still don't have a good pizza for delievery in the Brandermill area.
