A visit to Bean Traders in Durham's Homestead Market is an aromatic experience. A large, regularly used coffee roaster stands in the dining area, and dozens of empty coffee bean burlap sacks lie around it. A variety of coffees are served hot and cold available any way you like, from espresso to Americano to mocha berry blast. Other beverages include hot chocolate, hot or iced chai, Italian soda (with or without cream) and Coke or root beer floats -- sip while you nosh on locally made pastries. Seating is limited to a few cafe tables and comfy chairs. Bean Traders also sells coffee by the pound and a selection of gift boxes and baskets.

Coffee That Delivers
Great neighborhood coffee bar, friendly service and most importantly, coffee that delivers. Never bitter, froth that stands up to a stir, and a nice selection of teas. Wide variety of beans available freshly roasted by the staff.
