Under the same ownership as the Panorama/Boxxes/Brig triple-threat, Fez has access to a lot of dance club know-how. The spacious, third-floor ballroom and Moroccan-themed decor make for a unique place to lose yourself in swirling colored lights. It's a place where someone wearing slouchy jeans and a backpack would stand comfortably side-by-side with a patron in a pink wig and hot pants. Pillow-laden padded platforms are perfect for snuggling into. The beautiful second floor lounge adds a whole new angle to the club, with its mosaic-tiled bar and cozy atmosphere. Cushions encircle warm-hued columns and line the walls, which have plenty of windows overlooking busy Burnside Street. -- Jessie Hensley
