The cafeteria-style setup, exposed pipes overhead and rainbow-color ceiling fans help keep Lulu's on the casual side. Head to the counter to investigate the menu, then place your order, grab your tray, and get ready to kiss those hunger pangs goodbye. Portions here are large, boasting flavors that are strong but don't overpower the taste buds. Singapore rice noodles fill a large plate, thanks in part to plump shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts, onion and a hint of curry. Noodle soups, served in pretty ceramic dishes, also are full of steamy goodness, which sometimes includes small, edible flowers for an exotic touch. Of Lulu's "small eats" (known elsewhere as appetizers), a popular dish is crab rangoon -- crispy wonton filled with vegetables, seafood and cream cheese. Not in the mood for noodles?
