Just try to find a restaurant with more grandeur and elegance than Grand Concourse, located in what was once the main waiting area for a busy train station. The high vaulted ceilings, original details and huge staircase make for a stunning atmosphere indeed. As you might expect, the food fits right in with the ambience; nearly everything here is deliciously fancy, with some special ingredient that sets it apart from similar dishes. Try the shrimp Danielle or the more unusual Spanish paella, simmered with a half-lobster. Tangy key-lime pie makes a perfectly refreshing finish to your meal. Occasionally, Grand Concourse's upscale dishes are accompanied by live entertainment -- a musician plays the grand piano in the main dining room, adding to the elegance of your evening. For an outdoor view, grab a spot in the restaurant's glass addition, which faces the river and the city's sparkling skyline. If that doesn't leave you dazzled, there's little hope anything will.

Grand is Just the Beginning

I have been a long time fan of the Grand Concourse! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the ambiance. The food has always been top notch and the service has been impeccable. We go there every anniversary and often times we spend a getaway weekend in the fabulous hotels down town and always go to the Grand Concourse for brunch on Sunday.

Always delicious

We go to the Grand Concourse and Gandy Dancer 3-4 weekends a month. The service is very good for the crowd they always have. We have never had a complaint about the service or the food. It is always hot and delicious! Hats off to the Chefs! (And no I am not related to Landry, but the previous complainer must be related to the Muer's.)
