New Yorker salutes Philly 07/03/2007

As a native New Yorker I made my first trip to Philly last year at the invitaiton of a friend who lives there. From the reading of the Declaration of Independence in the morning ( tears to the eyes) to the tours of the historic sites to the huge throng of friendly people watching the impressive fireworks.......you do it right , Philly.

Problem:tendon 07/03/2007

I had a large round nodule on the bottom of my foot that was in the middle of the tendon that runs under the bottom of your foot. It was very painful and made stepping onto narrow surfaces, such as ladders, steps, etc. very difficult. Dr. Kornblatt said basically it would have to heal on its' own, which it did, in time.

I've came back alive for 22... 07/01/2007

No need to worry about any "wild bulets" or "roming thives" at this celebration. When it come to the 4th of July, I look no further that Philadelphia's Celebration. It is the only place to celebrate!!!

One Of The Best !!! 06/30/2007

Living many years in South Jersey I spent many July 4ths in Philly. I would park in old city near Penns Landing and walk to Independence Hall on Chestnut Street to watch the Medal of Freedom award. Spend the day eating cheesesteaks and shopping, resting in a park while people watching as I made my way to the Ben Franklin Parkway to watch the parade. Then I would find a nice spot on the grass in front of the Art Museum to watch the concert and the fireworks. I have taken my son there for years and am always surprised that for a large city the crowds are always well behaved and very safe. You must treat yourself to this Philly 4th.

Need Information 06/27/2007

I'm not from Philadelphia and I've never been to the July 4th celebration and am planning on attending this year. Can anyone give any helpful tips or hints about how to get around the city, where to park closest to the Art Museum, what to see, where to go... things like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!

Sunoco Welcome America Week 06/25/2007

It would be a good idea if Sunoco gave out free gas a few days during this week. Also, I'm with the person who asked: Where's the list of other activities for the week other than fireworks????
