Rate and Write a Review Fifteen years in the making, the National Constitution Center is an elegant anchor to Philadelphia's historical area, dedicated to increasing public understanding of the Constitution and the ideals it represents. The center tells the story of the Constitution through more than 100 interactive and multimedia exhibits, photographs, sculpture, text, film and artifacts. Plunked in the middle of Independence National Historical Park, its sleek, modern design and high-tech exhibits set it apart from the historical buildings that surround it, making it a jarring juxtaposition of form and function. Tours of the center include 'Freedom Rising,' a multimedia presentation, and a series of interactive family-oriented exhibits that show the significant role the Constitution has played throughout history. Visitors can vote for their favorite president, take the Presidential Oath-of-Office and even e-mail elected officials and watch up-to-the-minute constitutional issues unfold. The center also houses Delegates restaurant and has a full roster of special events.
