The wood, brass and brick decor of Sarah Street Grille, a local bar and restaurant, creates a cozy environment to enjoy live music. Sarah Streets known for its live music six nights a week - everything from Wednesday night jazz to open-mic night to the local folk-rock combo that plays here every Sunday. Drink specialties include alcoholic ice cream and coffee drinks. Fosters, Bass, Guinness and Coors are on tap, as is a revolving tap of seasonal Sam Adams brews and Barley Creek, a local microbrew from Tannersville. There's also a selection of wines. On Sunday nights during football season, the TVs are always tuned to the game. Professionals crowd the old bar for happy hour, and at night singles and college kids hang out until the 2am closing time. The large menu has steak, pasta, vegetarian selections and just about everything else. -- Tamar Anitai

Great Food & Atmosphere

Sarah Street is the best resturant/bar in the poconos. It has excellent food, a great variety of beers and mixed drinks and a laid back atmosphere. It's great for all ages during the day (kids included) and at night it's where you can find the twenty/thirty-something hang out. If you are looking for a great bar (not a human meat market) this is the place to go.

Nothing to rave about

the beer is usually cold, drinks are ok. We've stopped by to eat on several occasions - small portions, bad or slow service on each occasion. Sorry I sent friends to eat there - they came away with the same opinion. Another couple we sent there to eat had their meal ruined by a fight in the bar - which is not uncommon according to the locals. So we won't send anyone there now. Happy hour? Local click gets the seats and the drinks. Good "kid hang out joint" for music and drinking - that's about it.

where else can youget sushi and all kinda of food at one place. the bar is nice the beers are pricy but who cares at this point. i think its best place to eat in poconos besides maybe FAnuccis
