Jim Agatucci opened this restaurant in 1929, and has since been handed down through four generations of sons. The casual, friendly atmosphere at this family-owned Italian eatery has changed little since then. Here you'll find whole softball teams enjoying the thin-crust pizza beside business executives. Agatucci's also serves a range of traditional pastas, Italian sausage sandwiches and one American favorite: fried chicken. You shouldn't leave without trying their famous Tiger Sauce, inspired by a friend of Grandfather Agatucci's who had a habit of dipping his pizza into the salad dressing. The result is a secret concoction of oil, vinegar and spices. Agatucci's is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The rest of the week and weekend they're open for dinner only.
