Hush Restaurant   

Formerly a nondescript old building that faded into the landscape, it's now contemporary and striking. The dining room is outfitted in burnished teak and rich leather. The outdoor patio with its crackling fire is just as attractive, though slightly more casual. There's also a handsome, spacious lounge. After losing its executive chef shortly after opening, the place made a seamless recovery, maintaining its ambitious inaugural menu and high-concept 'New American' cuisine. Always, the restaurant maintains its focus on fresh, locally grown seasonal products. Thanks to managing partner Chuck Rock, hush's wine list is nothing short of spectacular. The 10,000-bottle cellar boasts hundreds of vintages, including many rare treasures from Rock's personal collection. For true oenophiles, this is the main attraction; food and decor are just postscripts.
