Welcome to the court of King Alphonso the Magnificent and the lovely Queen Inez the Just. A grand tournament and feast await you inside the majestic Grand Ceremonial Arena. Here knights compete against each other to prove their skill and accuracy in the noble arts of warfare. Watch mounted knights reach speeds of up to 35 miles per hour in the joust, riding Andalusian stallions straight from Spain. Afterwards the action intensifies as knights engage in dangerous hand-to-hand combat using authentic period weaponry such as morning stars, battle axes and broad swords. Guests can indulge in a sumptuous four-course banquet served by the Castle's comely serfs and wenches. Guests can also entertain themselves in the Castle's beautiful Hall of Arms which features two gift shops, an armory (with a fine collection of imported swords), a dungeon (Museum of Torture) and two permanent bars. Opportunities for merriment abound, so swill some mead and watch the flowers of the aristocracy bludgeon and maul each other for your amusement. N.B.: This is not a traditional restaurant, to say the least. Reservations are recommended. In any case, arrive a little bit before the showtime. Think of it as dinner theater, with a bit of spectacle thrown in for good measure. Purchase tickets in advance on the Medieval Times website or call for showtimes.

I love the fact that the scenary is set back in medieval times, also how we sit and eat with our hands, sometimes you want to be able to just let loose. i agree with the comment above, they need to keep people in suspense with the show. the princess gives away to much, but the food is real good. It is a little expensive, but i guess thats the price you pay for a good show and dinner. Thank you once again for a good time.

To whom ever is concern on this topic. Please read and rate Rgarding The Lyndhurst Castle @ Medieval Times in New Jersey. We never been there however upon our review and research we have heard and seen online is a place to visit and take the family or friends although we all like to experience the excitement, fun and entertainment of it all the prices are outrageously high. I went online to check-out the prices and is a bit expensive for a family of 4 or 6. I review the prices for adult being at $54.95 per person. I would like to see that change so that we can afford it. My opinion please pass this message. Medieval Times lets ease on the prices. Thanks
