I MET DINO WHEN HE FIRST CAME TO HOBOKEN BEFORE HIS PLACE WAS OPEN, AND CAN HONESTLY SAY THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD HAS BEEN CONSISTENT (EXCELLENT ). "AND I STILL HAVE THE PHOTO OF HIM IN THE HOLLAND TUNNEL"(SMILE) AS THE OLD SAYING GOES A LITTLE CHILD WILL LEAD YOU, I HAVE TAKEN MY SEVEN YEAR OLD GRANDSON TO SOME OF THE FINEST RESTAURANTS FROM LONDON, TO NEW YORK AND HE RAVES ABOUT THE FOOD AT FRANKIE & JOHNNIE'S.

Prices to rival Manhattan. Unremarkable SMALL mixed drink and glass of HOUSE chardonnay: $18.75. EVERYTHING ALACARTE. Want Bernaisse for your steak? add $3.50. Want a veggy? Add $6.50. Had a 1/4 head chunk of iceberg lettuce: $9.00. Had a steak, and the only thing it came with was the plate: $37.50. Suprised there was no charge for water or napkins. Food was just okay. Have had far better in the area and in NYC for less or the same money. For LESS money and far more value , try Meson Madrid or Don Quixote. You will take home half you meal there is so much food!!

I THINK THE STEAKS ARE AWSOME, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FRIENDLY PEOPLE. I HAVE HAD THE 48OZ-72OZ-AND 100OZ ALL WERE GREAT. WE ARE GOING TONIGHT NOW THAT I THINK OF IT-I RATE IT NUMBER #1
