Uncle Jacks   

LOCATED NEAR THE QUEENS-NASSAU COUNTY BORDER, IN ZIP CODE 11362, MAZUR'S is a wonderful restaurant, and you can do shopping there too! The food is great, the meat , (Iin the separate meat department), is TOTALLY FRESH, and has NEVER BEEN FROZEN! It is butchered on the premises!!!!! This is a "Glatt Kosher" establishment -- so don't look for pork or ham dishes. Everyone is very, very friendly! The restaurant menu is varied and reasonable, & full of tasty things to eat! The supermarket is filled with goodies--giving the nearby, (and also excellent), Waldbaum's supermarket a run for it's money! Zigat restaurant rating guide has given this establishment 4 stars! I agree....and you will, too! Yum-YUM!

I hate Uncle Jacks's. My girlfriend and I went there occassionally, but after I had foot surgery, I was on crutches and wore a soft shoe on my right foot. The rude doorman told us they didn't allow sneakers and would not let us in. That was it for me and Uncle Jackass.
