Rate and Write a Review Lively but low-key, upbeat but not oppressively upscale, this bar and pizza joint has become Park Slope's de facto community center. As you relax at the front-room bar, sipping a cold draft from a boot-shaped mug and getting to know your neighbors, local artists, accountants and toddlers groove to a funk band playing in the back. A crowded bulletin board lets you in on all the music lessons, theater workshops and inner-energy seminars occurring on Seventh Avenue. And in nice weather, you can knock back a couple of pitchers in the walled-in garden, and eavesdrop on your neighbors' most intimate stories. Don't feel bad, they're listening to you too and besides, it's the Slope -- we share everything here. -- Diana Shafter

Casual and Fun
For the 2 of you
Great for when you want one and he/she wants another. Very kid friendly, so don't be afraid to bring yours. Food is great, decor is jazzy, beer selection great. Don't worry about the "Cajun" label, food is not spicy so you can bring that date who doesn't like spicy food.
