Rate and Write a Review One of the best Caribbean spots in Manhattan, Negril serves up tangy fish escovitch, ginger-lime chicken and chewy bammie cake along with glasses of sweet sorrel. Though many dishes are not as spicy as some might prefer, they're all cooked well and nicely presented. A vegetarian menu includes steamed and seasoned callaloo and stew. This colorful, lively spot is located in an out-of-the-way corner of Chelsea, but fans of roti will find their way. Also located at 402 W. 44th St., 212-765-1737.

We fell in love over jerk chicken , Snapper and rum punch. The more we go the more my DD teaches me about Jamaican food. My DD is 100% jamaican princess and she and I love Negril. Can't wait to bring my daughter. Service is no problem with DD and I.

The food is fab!!!!! But the service SUCKS!!! I waited over 45 minutes to get served. The waiter forgot my drinks, I had to remind him several times. His mind was preocuppied with something else. Appetizers came practically around the same time as the Entree'. But like I said the food was banging!!!
