Rate and Write a Review Sean "P. Diddy" Comb's crib is named after his son, and the rap impresario runs the restaurant with his mother Janice, who keeps tabs on the Caribbean cuisine and Southern-fried flavor. Don't expect a pimped-out pad of hip-hop beats and Benjamins flowing from the rafters; the decor is tasteful and toned, with low-lighting and a cool jazz soundtrack. Far south of the soul food center in Harlem, the menu still manages to keep things spicy. Grandma Jessie's sweet BBQ chicken wings, crabmeat-stuffed blackened catfish, colossal shrimp cocktail and seafood gumbo are notoriously big dishes. And like Diddy's videos and decadent parties, his restaurant doesn't shy away from a stylish dress code and wide array of martinis, cocktails and bottles.

Haters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To all those that leave neg comments about this restaurant must be uppity white people that don't understand what soul food is or uppity black people that don't know how to be black. Some people just don't like to see black people achieve . Alway something negative to say!! Let it had been Ellen Degeneres restaurant, they could serve you shit on a stick and a side of fish water and you'd think it was the best restaurant in the world.
Overall, it was very good
I can't understand all of the negative reviews, except to say you have to consider the source. The negative reviewers below must be accustomed to eating at McDonalds and Sizzler. Justin's was good. The food was hot and tasty, the service was as expected, and the prices were just fine for me. It was a good dining experience and I have no problem recommending it. It is not Per Se or The Rainbow Grill so it isn't expensive. Its just not Sizzler or Applebees prices, but what do you expect from a Manhattan Restaurant. The prices are average for a place like that and for those that say its not true soul food, you are right. It's fusion soul and caribbean cooking, with an American twist. If you are looking for 100% southern soul food cooked by Aunt Jamimah, look elsewhere, but that doesn't mean Justin's food is not good. Try it and you'll like it. The only surprising thing about my dining experience was the atmosphere. It was smaller than expected and not as "bling bling" as it thought it would be.
