Named for the ancient Incan festival of the sun -- an elaborately festive occasion at which, a Peruvian friend assures us, human sacrifice "almost never" happened -- this celebrated Jackson Heights eatery aims to present the full range of Andean cuisine. Menu highlights include complex stews of beef and chicken in cilantro sauce, pungent octopus and scallop ceviches, and fortifying 'chupe de camarones' (shrimp chowder). Also on offer is an outstanding version of Peru's distinctive roast chicken, marinated in beer, garlic and cumin (connoisseurs may want to compare Inti Raymi's recipe with that of nearby Pio-Pio). The restaurant is shuttered Monday through Wednesday, and weekend crowds are a certainty, so call ahead. -- Jacob Levich

Ceviche to die for. I went to Sushi Samba months ago and had their "ceviche." It was an absolute joke compared to the ceviche found at Inti Raymi. Nice thick tostones too.

This restaurant was hoorible, we waited 1 hour to get the food and the next day I had to take my daughter to the hospital for food poisoning.

This is a wonderful restaurant! The food is delicious and identical to the food served in Peru. The restaurant itself makes you feel like you're in a restaurant in the middle of Lima ( peru's capital).
