Gordon Ramsay

Brit celebrity chef comes to America

From the Editors

This is the first American restaurant in the culinary empire of Gordon Ramsay, the celebrity British chef whose three Michelin stars for his Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in the U.K. are almost outshone by his outsized 'Hell's Kitchen' personality. The dining room, inside the London NYC Hotel, is exclusively small and requires jackets for men, while the adjacent The London Bar is more casual. Go for the Prestige Menu, a seven-course offering that might include lobster ravioli, striped bass filet with caviar veloute, and filet of corn-reared Brandt beef with braised oxtail and Bordelaise sauce. See if you can score a chef's table; it'll probably come with a complimentary F-bomb. -- Yon Motskin (Photo: courtesy of Gordon Ramsay at the London)

Worst Place EVER!!!! 08/10/2007

The guy before me must be his cousin. This place sucks especially for what they charge. RUDE staff and UNSATISFYING portions make for a BAD evening. NEVER going back.
