A homegrown little Mexican place with a quaintly corny selection of drinks served in mason jars and garnished with rubber alligators, grasshoppers and other gum machine toys. Cheery and serene, the artifact-festooned narrow room is open to the street, with a thatch-roofed bar reminiscent of gringo bars in places like Cancun. Their food gets a lot of attention, and is positively voluminous, if anything. You know what this place is? Its reliable, thats what it is. -- Dan Glass

OK Mexican food. FLUSHING?????
The Mexican food is pretty good, the margaritas are liquid crack!!! That's why we go. But I question the authenticity or reliability of these stupid 'City Best' guides when they don't even know that this restaurant is in Forest Hills NOT TOILET FLUSHing
Best Mex in NYC
This is the BEST mexican restaurant in the city. The food is great, servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Plus they have the best margaritas.
5 Burro is in Forest Hills not in Flushing
Good food, good drink , lively crowd... Not for theRIAFace type above who sounds like a princess with continuous PMS ... never seen a roach .and I am there at least three to four times a month ...
