Bigger means better at this elegant Indian restaurant in midtown. The 200-seat eatery is a gentle giant with a surprisingly calming atmosphere. The tables are spaced for privacy and equipped with a staff that will literally walk the extra mile. Choose a generous portion of shrimp ki tikki, pakoras, quail, and seekh kebab.

This probably isn't the very best Indian you'll ever have, but the yummy lunchtime buffet is a bargain that's hard to beat. It's also a great alternative to the Sunday brunch-crunch venues further uptown.
