Rate and Write a Review Closed as of May 2006 This storefront, which serves barbecue and other Southern delicacies at extremely reasonable prices, is a welcome addition to Park Slope. Sandwiches include a pork shoulder sandwich, a fried catfish sandwich and a BBQ bologna sandwich, each with one side dish included like fries, tangy collard greens, red beans and rice, macaroni and cheese, mixed greens and, natch, fluffy, buttery biscuits. You can also get a half-rack of ribs with two side dishes. The best value, however, is a double-dipped fried chicken platter that also comes with two sides. You get about half a chicken on your plate, which is extra-large to accommodate the bird and the hefty helpings of side dishes. Biscuit, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, is primarily a take-out joint, and if you choose to eat in, be prepared for some kitschy, uncomfortable, flea-market-style benches, chairs and tables. But given Biscuit's prices, it's no surprise there's often a big line of people at 7PM, waiting to get their grease on. -- Andy Wang
