Encompassing nearly 5,000 square feet, this Tudor-style British pub claims to be the original one in the area. It has a load of beers and ales on tap as well as 60 single-malt scotches available. You can relax in the heated garden patio with its own fireplace, or hang inside, where you can enjoy live entertainment six nights of the week. Food is traditional pub fare: bangers, burgers, and fish and chips. There is no better beer selection in Monterey, and the happy hour is constantly being voted the best in town by locals. It is always fun here.

I find it it pretty darn good!
I always enjoy the MD when ever I get a chance. I love the back patio & the live music in the afternoon. I mean really, how many other places offer a GREAT variety of live music by our own local bands during happy hour. I give it a VERY good rating :)
Great Place for Drinks and Fun
The food here in my opinion is horrible. It's a British Pub....what do you expect? However, the atmosphere, the people that work there, and the drink selection are all reasons to overlook the food. If you are looking for an evening to spend with friends and have a good time you can't go wrong. If you drink enough the food tates fine.

i love the mucky duck good friendly people great i love there band and i love there karaokee on tuesday night the food i had was great it give you a great feeling of joy when you go there.
