A relative newcomer to the downtown scene, Maduro has established itself as a comfortable and classy spot for those who like to indulge in the best of cigars and alcohol. Maduro, which is Spanish for mature or ripe, offers a warm atmosphere with leather couches, a fireplace, exposed brick and jazz music. The clientele, mostly a professional bunch (yes, those lobbyists from the nearby Capitol need a place to relax), can bring their own cigars or choose from the bar's extensive collection from such countries as the Dominican Republic and Honduras.
