Village Pizzeria   

Plastered with Brooklyn paraphernalia, this cool little pizza join serves its thin-crust slices straight-up, no-frills, topped with bubbling cheese and classics like mushrooms or pepperoni (clam- and-garlic is a devotees' favorite). But they're not all New York; Village infuses the good parts of Califiornia cuisine, citing all-fresh ingredients and "no additives." Meatballs, marinara and pesto are all homemade, and they even make their own sausage. Also on the menu is fantastic people-watching from the cluster of sidewalk tables outside.
