Price Per Person: $20-$30* Kid-Friendly Perks: Kid menu, high chairs Blue Plate Special: Cheesecake to the max, but also Factory Burgers, Burritos Grande, Cajun Chicken Littles, and Asian veggie stir-fry. The Dish: Born in Beverly Hills in 1978 of one woman's talent for making cheesecake, Cheesecake Factory restaurants quickly exploded nationwide. Now a second-generation family affair, the chain keeps its creative edge without sacrificing quality. Folks line up for 'tons of fun' layered burgers, Hawaiian pizza with pineapple, San Remo pizza with Brie, mahi-mahi soft tacos, avocado egg rolls, and (of course) 35 kinds of cheesecake -- from banana cream to pumpkin. Lighter eaters go for Cobb or Luau salad, and Cheesecake Factory caters to the egg affinity of the Sunday brunch bunch. The Atmosphere: California-sleek-meets-art- deco design in the stylish and distinctive Cheesecake Factory atmosphere. The clientele includes college kids on dates, couples after the movies, dessert-seeking families, and seniors on a budget. This is upscale chain food, with class as well as sass, and the more than 200 menu items are innovative enough to keep you coming back. Dessert may reign here, but Factory meatloaf, Caribbean steak, heavenly mashed potatoes, and pad Thai with chicken or shrimp please everyone. - - Tracey E. Meloni *Price Per Person includes entree, drink & dessert

Dazzling Dining

The menu at this restaurant entails so much of everything that it guarantees anyone can find something great to eat. I've never had anything that wasn't spectacular! They have everything from mouth-watering sandwiches (hot and cold)to award-winning salads and appetizers, pizzas, pastas, even Chinese. The difficult part is saving room for their unbelievably decadent Cheesecake which will leave you scraping your plate when you're through! My favorite dish is Oscar's Barbeque Chicken Sandwich. It is a barbequed chicken breat basted in a tangy barbeque sauce, with cheddar cheese, and sweet fried onion strings, as well as the rest of the works if you wish (e.g. lettuce, tomato). It is served with a large side of french fries on the side. My other favorite is the Chinese Orange Chicken dish which comes on a bed of white rice and has a flavor that is out of this world! Everything is the absolute best at this restaurant and the atmosphere is really enjoyable too! If you want to sit outside, the heat lamps will make you feel comfy and cozy while you enjoy one of the best meals you've ever had! This place is filled with a classy feel, but more of a trendy restaurant than a ritzy one. People of all ages come here. Attire can range from casual pants and t-shirts to very dressy, depending on the feel one is going for. This restaurant can have a romantic ambiance if one wants it to while on a date with candlelight on each table and a dimly lit atmosphere at night. The music is always up to date and adds to the great eating experience one has here. Friendly service with a smile and a wink This restaurant is very reasonably priced. Entrees range from anywhere between $7 and $15, with most items on the menu coming to approximately $10. This is a great date restaurant. It is definitely worth the cost as each dish is always sized for a king or queen! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes a large variety of choices. I eat out anywhere from 3-5 days/nights a week. I will spend $10 on a meal if it includes great service and unbelievably fantastic food. A bottle of fine wine and a roasted bird in cream sauce
