Pita! Pita! is vegetarian and vegan friendly, but most of the menu boasts chicken, lamb and beef dishes so there is something for the carnivores in your group. From the moment you sit down, there's pita bread, pickled jicama, peppers and cured olives to munch on while perusing the menu. You can dine outside and experience the hustle and bustle of Old Town Pasadena or have an intimate table inside. Their homemade lentil soup is a popular starter. The spicy lamb kebob, sauted garlic shrimp in lemon and garlic sauce and Mediterranean grilled chicken are great entrees. There are also pita sandwiches, falafel, salads and plenty of hummus to go around. Groups feel right at home since portions are large and sharing is common.
