Los Toros Mexican Restaurant   

The hand-crafted doors have hinges and handles made in Mexico and the entryway boasts a colorful, tiled floor reminiscent of the work of Mexican artisans. Hand-painted lighting fixtures were also imported from south of the border for that truly authentic feel. Be sure to sit on the patio with its fountain, large tables and brightly painted chairs in various colors -- it offers a cool breeze in the warmer months and is heated in winter. Start your Mexican feast with jalapeno poppers, nachos or, better yet, the Los Toros Sampler which comes with quesadillas, taquitos, flautas, nachos and guacamole. There are also frosty margs aplenty during happy hour. Los Toros provides a kid's menu for the under-10 set, as well as "Lite" choices featuring items like grilled chicken soft tacos and a grilled chicken salad. Specialties include Nopales Rellenos (cactus pads stuffed with jack cheese), Aaron's Burrito (shrimp, rice, tomatoes, bell peppers) and camarones al mojo de ajo (jumbo shrimp battered in a garlic cheese sauce). There are the requisite a la carte items such as tacos, enchiladas and chimichangas, but it's more fun to order the family-style versions, which come with enough for the whole table.
