The intimate alley walkway is lit with twinkle lights, but you'd never guess the hidden side door entrance takes you to the third member of the hip scene generated under the same Art Deco roof by Avalon and Spider Club. Where Avalon provides the music and Spider Club provides the club, Honey offers the final necessary piece: late-night bistro dining. And as only Hollywood can pull off, they don't open their doors for dinner until 8PM -- but they will keep serving into the wee hours. Dark decor, beehive chandeliers and comfy seating are the setting for eclectic entrees like dover sole over mushroom ravioli and beef strip over pototo gratin. But when the clock strikes 12, nightlifers not ready to retire can enjoy a full menu of pre-hangover bites from bloody mary oyster shooters to lobster corn dogs. They'll also keep serving a full menu of virgin cocktails. Now, that's what we call hipster hospitality.

NOT LATE NIGHT DINNING
By gilmore263 on 10/01/2007
Honey is NOT a Late Night Resturant. i had a 10:30 pm dinner reservation. Upon arival of my 2nd trip to Honey, they sat us at a table and told us all they could serve us is appitizers and salads. My first trip, several weeks prior, was just as aweful. Upon arrival of my first trip to Honey, they told me I needed a reservation and the kitchen was closed. although I read this place was a "late night dinner" I thought I may have caught them on an off night. Thus, I made a reservation for 7/28/2007 at 10:30pm. Reservations mean nothing to these people. After multiple requests to speak with them manager; the manager did not have the intestinal fortatude to speak with me - we left. PS - upon my deparute, I watched a rather large RAT saunter into the kitchen. This place BLOWS - my recomendation is to STAY AWAY!!!!!
