Rate and Write a Review As the flagship restaurant for the company that owns the Cheesecake Factory chain, Grand Lux Cafe corners the market on famished tourists and shoppers with its location at the southeastern tip of the Beverly Center. Bearing the same subtle luxury as a Las Vegas casino, Grand Lux triggers as many "oohs" and "ahs" for its opulent arches, sky-high ceiling, plush booths and marble floors, as it does for its belt-busting menu. BBQ chicken pizzas the size of Pangaea, monstrous grand club sandwiches and a never-ending plate of Manhattan chopped salad (romaine lettuce, asparagus, white beans, red onion and fresh beets to name a few ingredients) are just some of the entrees that have you asking the waiter for a take-home box. Of course, you may want to somehow save some room for the Lux's desserts, which include freshly baked, gigantic slices of deep dark fudge cake, warm mountain of puffed beignets with chocolate and strawberry sauce and the Cheesecake Factory decadent standard: the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake. Arrive ravenous, or you may never make it past the appetizer. -- Jesse Torres
